“Something compels me to walk these stairs. I don’t know what I am walking away from. The stairs are all I know. And then I remember... There is only this and nothing more.”

A dreamscape on loop, a reoccurring nightmare, a fevered dream. It is the story of a young woman living in a rooming house. It is a story of love, loss and obsession. It is a ghostly reunion. It is a strange carnival. It is a dance. It is a love song. Part art exhibit, part haunted house, this site-specific piece, infused with video and shadow puppetry, will lead the audience through a living nightmare they will not soon forget.

Please Note: Dream Cabinet is a site-specific performance in a Victorian home. There is limited seating available and the audience is guided through the performance. At 60 minutes, there are long periods of standing and walking through the space. If you have limited mobility or need wheelchair access, we will gladly make arrangements. Please contact the box office prior to the performance for details.
