Hannah Kenah (Playwright/ Alice) Hannah Kenah is a performer, writer, and company member with the Rude Mechs and has been developing work with the company since 2008, including touring nationally with NOW NOW OH NOW and THE METHOD GUN, and performing in and co-writing their latest work FIELD GUIDE. She served as a co-creator, performer, and writer for Salvage Vanguard Theater's GUEST BY COURTESY which was selected for Fusebox Festival 2013 and has since traveled to Sofia, Bulgaria and Brooklyn, NY. In 2015 Hannah directed her play EVERYTHING IS ESTABLISHED for Physical Plant; the play received on honorable mention on the 2015 Kilroys List. Hannah is currently studying playwriting as a Michener Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.

Renna Larson (Fireclay) is a Sophmore at Austin High School. She has performed in Rude Mechs and Salvage Vanguard Theater's (SVT) FROM THE PIG PILE, SVTs In This House Everything Is You, Scottish Rites Charlottes Web, and Teatro Vivo's Cuento Navideño.
Rupert Reyes (Doctor) is proud to make his appearance again with SVT! He last appeared with these guys in "Pinkolandia." Recently retired from the Artistic Director position with Teatro Vivo, he will continue in an advisory role. He will now pursue his main love in theater: playwrighting. Thanks to Jenny for her guidance, confidence and friendship. Lots of hugs to JoAnn, the kids and the Grand kids for their support! One last thanks to Hannah, for bringing these words to the page.
Stephanie Busing (Set Design) is a video projection and scenic designer that is very happy to be working on her first production with SVT. Recent designs include: Alice in Wonderland (scenery/projections) at ZACH Theatre, "Studio in the Museum" (exhibit design, UMLAUF), Everything Is Established (scenery, Physical Plant), Now Then Again (projections, Penfold Theatre), and Alpine Theatre Project's 2015 Summer Rep (projections/scenery). Stephanie is a company member of Underbelly Theatre and graduated from UT Austin with an M.F.A. in Theatrical Design: Integrated Media. She is now based in Grand Rapids, but will travel anywhere to work on a good project.
Alyssa Dillard (Lighting Design) is an Austin designer, her most recents credits include lighting design for Teatro Vivo's Stories of Us, Sound design for Viceroys production of Topdog/Underdog, and SVT's Denim Doves (Hobum is watching sisters). This summer she worked at the Hungarian Multicultural Artist Residency curating moments and sounds for an upcoming project and studied marionette carving in Prague. After all that she is happy to be back home in Austin working with so many talented and awesome artists.

Andrew Hatcher (Stage Manager) is also the Company Manager for Salvage Vanguard Theater, his first home for theater in Austin. Andrew's previous work with SVT includes stage managing AM I WHITE and Thr3e Zisters. This show, like every SVT experience has been wonderful and moving. The community created by this organization is unparalleled. Other credits include numerous shows with: Doctuh Mistuh Productions, Trouble Puppet, Fusebox Festival, Texas Performing Arts, Breaking String Theater, Austin Playhouse, and Mary Moody Northen Theatre. He is a graduate of St Edward's University.
Jenny Larson (Director) is a director, performer, producer of the theater arts, living and working in Austin, Texas. Jenny serves as the Artistic Director of Salvage Vanguard Theater (SVT), a position she has held since 2008. Directing credits include the premieres of: THRUSH by Caridad Svich, Hamilton Township by Jason Grote, Birth of Rabbits by C Denby Swanson, PINKOLANDIA by Andrea Thome (regional premiere), AM I WHITEand Denim Doves by Adrienne Dawes, From the Pig Pile by Sibyl Kempson, and Naked as a Gaybird by Jay Byrd. Jenny co-created and costarred in the piece Guest by Courtesy with Hannah Kenah in 2011. Guest by Courtesy then toured to the She Makes Theater conference in Sofia, Bulgaria in November of 2013. Jenny recently collaborated with Bulgarian company The Mighty Mighty Pressure Cooker on a 2 year/4 part exchange titled UNLIVED LIVES which came to completion in April of 2015. Jenny launched SVT’s script development program Works Progress Austin (WPA) in 2006. Through the WPA, SVT collaborates with trail blazing American artists including Duke recipient Daniel Alexander Jones. Jenny's next project is directing Casta (working title) by playwright Adrienne Dawes in collaboration with visual artist Beth Consetta Rubel.
Chaz Sanders (Master Electrician) is extremely excited to be working with SVT. Chaz is a graduate of Southwestern University, where he received a Bachelors of Art in Theatre. He has worked on several shows, such as 12th Night (University of Texas), Macbeth (Austin Shakespeare), Hold Me Well (Shrewd Productions), Agent Andromeda (Sky Candy), and The Flick (Hyde Park). Chaz Is also the Prop Master, Assistant Technical Director, And Master Electrician for Kids Acting Studio.
Julia Smith (Magical Props, aka: the bellies, glass cubes, abacus) is a collaborative theater artist and educator who graduated from Towson University's MFA Theatre program and holds a BFA from New York University's Experimental Theatre Wing. Her performance, direction, and design work has been seen throughout New York City, Baltimore/ DC are, Chicago, New Orleans, Texas, and Eastern Europe. Her work has been recognized in the New York Times, The Austin Chronicle, The Austin Critics Table Awards, B Iden Payne Committee, and the Eastern Europe and Slavic Performance Journal. Julia was last seen performing at Lincoln Center in Basil Twist's Rite of Spring, on Season 6 of The Good Night Show for the Sprout Network, and at the Austin Puppet Incident. She is currently a Theater Director at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock. She is happy to have the chance to make such wild and strange objects for SVT.
